An old Foster City establishment that has been taken over by new ownership and a change in the style of Chinese cooking. It was formerly Cantonese style. It is now a Twainess style. The interior has been updated and cleaned up significantly. The new owner is working hard to ensure his staff are accommodating and makes every effort to ensure his patrons are enjoying themsel ves. The pig shanks dish is very flavorful and tender. Much pricer than other items. All the dishes we had were very well prepared. This is a mid-level restaurant with tablecloth. The price range for most of the entrees are 22-25 dollars. A nice place to bring friends for A excellent Chinese meal. This place is also very quite, whereas most Chinese eatting places are noisy.

Soooo good! My fav Taiwanese restaurant in the Bay Area. It’s authentic and the service was the best. Must try - basil popcorn chicken (very pricey though); double the $ but same size in other restaurants - ma po stinky tofu - stir fry sliced tofu and pork

Stopped in at lunchtime. Very busy. Ordered spicy general chicken with broccoli, garlic green beans w pork and white rice. All were delicious. Service was all business and very hot food hit the table in short order. Def would go back.

Good Taiwanese cuisine in the area. I was surprised to find that they have stinky tofu here, which is quite a controversial dish. If you can eat it, you’ll love the dish and the smell dearly; but if you can’t take it, it’s the worst smell and taste food that you’ll disdain forever :)) We tried the stinky tofu and quite liked it. I don’t know if they did it right or not because I certainly didn’t smell anything bad, but the taste was acceptable and unique. Other dishes were also very good. If we have another chance to visit this area, we will visit again!

A true Taiwanese experience in the Bay Area Peninsula. My family loves China Bee, but ever since finding this place we’ve made it our new go-to! The portions are gigantic and flavors are savory and authentic. We ordered a smorgasbord of specialties including the prized beef noodle soup, mustard greens, hand-pulled chow mein and stinky tofu. We loved every bite and there was an appetizer hot and sour soup prior also! Service was top tier and we had a wonderful experience from start to finish! Highly recommend to anyone who loves Chinese cuisine, especially Taiwanese flavors!

The food is okay. I like the sour soup and maybe the fried rice noodle. I wouldn’t say this is a place you would come for Taiwanese street food but it does serve the family dishes you see in Taiwan. Service is friendly and environment is okay :)!

First time eating here yesterday and was not disappointed. The food was delicious and the entrees were very well portioned for the price. We spent about $90. The restaurant was really busy but the service was on point. Sorry I didn't take pictures, we were too hungry. We had the Stinky Tofu, Dry Sautéed String Beans, Shrimp with Honey Glazed Walnuts, House Special Chicken with Basil, and steamed rice. My cousin thought the beans and chicken were a little salty but I didn't have that shared taste. We definitely will go there again, as the menu is quite large and I want to try other items. The Parking wasn't bad but it does fill up fast around dinner time. The only issue was the language barrier, we couldn't ask about certain food items because the waitress didn't understand English well but she was very friendly and provided great service.

This is my family’s favorite Taiwanese restaurant on the peninsula. All the dishes are well cooked and taste authentic, with fast and friendly service. Lots of traditional Taiwanese dishes that you won’t find elsewhere. Stinky tofu is awesome! Plus the large parking lot makes it easy to park. A must try for anyone looking for authentic Taiwanese food!
